JKGS Awesome Desmond is a 2007 Homozygous Creme cremello overo paint gelding. He is registered with APHA and eligible for Palomino and PtHA registration as well. With the exact same markings as his sire and grand sire, he truly carries on his genetic coloration, but in the cremello form. He is currently 15-15.1hh and still growing. A late bloomer he should mature at 15.2-15.3hh. 
As a cremello, he is homozygous creme, otherwise known as double dilute. 

Kasper has proven to be an incredibly intelligent young man. Because he is a late bloomer and is still growing, he was started late. Even though Kasper has only been under saddle a year he has proven himself to be a remarkably easy ride and has already started taking novice and intermediate clients out on rides. He is gentle enough to be a children's mount and smart enough to go somewhere with adults. He is handled regularly and leads, ties, trailers, backs, stands for the farrier and vet. 

Kasper is VERY trail broke. He leads, follows, rides alone, crosses creeks, and is respectful at all gaits. No spook. The other day (in January) we were not able to get to our destination because of a snow storm so I rode Kasper in the dark and snow up to the top of the mountain while ponying another horse. He didn't spook when the snowplow flew by us, nor did he have any issues when we headed up a seasonal road that was very icy. He does not bite or kick and has been around young children, dogs, cats, and has treated them with respect. He is currently turned out with our big herd and is very respectful - neither the top, nor the bottom of the social hierarchy. He has also interacted peacefully with our other stallion. 

Kasper was gelded after breeding to three of our mares for 2010 offspring. One palomino tobiano gelding out of Maximum Review; one cremello filly out BachelorFoolishBlonde, and one red dun out of Double My Scotch. One foal has already sold for $1500 in utero.
